The speaker (Justin Kent) and the material outlined was extremely beneficial. The concept of what was taught makes total sense for trying to mass produce very similar iPhone Apps and had never occurred to me as a possibility. It was a bit over the level that I am currently at, however it is always great to see what is possible or next in my learning progression. Taking in material that is just over the horizon, makes me set my goals a little higher. The speaker was clear, concise and the interactive environment of a real-time class-like environment was much better over reviewing PowerPoint slides. I liked that today's examples had errors, we spoke out-loud about possible solutions which including debugging. This is the real world; one letter in the wrong place or missing file and errors are thrown up. I deal with these myself all the time, trying to add an additional feature which takes code in four or five different places, then trying to build and pow! 20 build errors.

This was a solid first meetup. We were able to discuss some history of the projects we've worked on and the future as to where we would like to each bring our apps. I personally got a lot of really great information from the meetup from Chris who is more seasoned than I at the platform. I can't wait for the next one.

I'm sorry that evryone missed out on a great first meetup. Those of us who were there had a great time, shared a number of good ideas and came up with our next meeting location.
